1. Who attends an Intimacy Retreat?
Couples of all ages attend
and enjoy Intimacy Retreats. Typically, their relationship is relatively
good, committed and loving. There
may or may not be some sexual concerns or other typical relationship
challenges. One or both partners may be interested in Tantra, or just want a weekend away from the kids, or hope to deepen their intimate connection, enhance or reignite their love life, or just have a fun vacation together. Click here for participants'

feel free to contact us. The Couples
Healing Intensive offers a more therapeutic option. We will be happy to discuss your participation in more depth. Private
retreats or coaching sessions are also options..

2. Is there public nudity?
There
is NEVER any public sexual
activity at an Intimacy Retreat. You always return to your private lodging for delightful
and sexually intimate "home-play" assignments!
Also, there is never any nudity unless the Intimacy
Retreat is at a clothing-optional
resort, which will always be noted up-front in the schedule.
Even at these resorts, nudity is never required in the
workshop space. Note: Intimacy Retreats in Tulum,
Mexico
are held at a resort with a clothing-optional
beach.

4. What accommodations are available for lodging and how do we make arrangements?
Generally you make your own arrangements for lodging, selecting from a list that we provide. In some cases, special rates apply for Intimacy Retreat participants.

5. Are any meals included?
Unless noted otherwise, meals are usually not included in the Intimacy
Retreat fee. The week-long Intimacy Retreat in Mexico includes a closing night dinner.
The Couples Healing Intensive includes some meals.

6. Are gift certificates available?
Yes! An Intimacy Retreat is a great gift for a holiday,
a birthday or an anniversary! We can provide a gift certificate for you to give to your Beloved.

7. What is the schedule during a retreat?
At all Intimacy Retreats, between group sessions, you return to your room for 'homeplay" assignments!
Typical Weekend Intimacy
Retreat Schedule*:
Friday: 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Saturday: 10 am - 3:45 pm (with a lunch break)
Saturday: 8:30 pm - 10:45 pm
Sunday: 11 am - 1:45 pm
There is also time for relaxation and vacation activities. And you might also
consider staying an extra day! (On Siesta Key, at sunset on Sundays, there is a dynamic "drum & dance" on the
beach! If your schedule permits, staying for this event is a rewarding experience!)

8. Can
singles
or same-sex couples attend?
We, Richard & Diana Daffner,
teach from our own man/woman experience, so the Intimacy Retreats seem
best suited for heterosexual
couples. The
Couples Healing Intensive, focused more on emotional growth, as well
as evening seminars or one-day retreats, when scheduled, are appropriate for all couples.
Also, there are talks and book signings that do not require a partner. If you are on our newsletter
list you will be notified of all events. See

9. Do you teach massage?
Massage
lessons are a wonderful couple experience! Diana Daffner
began teaching sensual massage while she was on the
Esalen Massage Staff in Big Sur, CA. The fee is $250/couple
for a 2 1/2 hour experience including private outdoor hot
tub (optional). Consider adding this to your Intimacy Retreat schedule.
Reiki treatments
and attunements are also available. NOTE:
The longer Intimacy Retreats in Mexico include massage training.

If you can organize a group of 4 or more couples who would like to experience this type of weekend, please contact us regarding sponsoring an Intimacy Retreat in your area.

11. What if we don't want to come to a group event
or can't make your scheduled dates?
We can arrange for a private Siesta Key retreat just for you and your Beloved!
You can schedule two to five 2-hour sessions over a one to three day period, or create as short
or as long a retreat as you like. The fee is $250/session. (If we travel to your location, additional charges apply.)
Also, Diana Daffner, M.A., is available for personal guidance or telephone coaching, Reiki treatments and massage training, for individuals and couples.

15. Is there oil on Siesta Beach? NO, there is no oil here. Our sand still sparkles and our Gulf water is clear. We do not expect the oil to come here. However, if that changes, and you register for a workshop and want to cancel due to the oil, we will refund your payment.
