More therapeutically oriented than the romantic Intimacy Retreat, this transformational workshop provides a healing environment for deep personal growth work in the presence of your partner. It is especially powerful for couples in recovery or otherwise struggling to build trust and intimacy in their relationship..

Richard and Diana Daffner, leaders of Intimacy Retreats, co-facilitate this event with Cia Ricco, a body-centered psychotherapist, author of Living As If Your Life Depended On It!, and director of Rancho Ricco: The Center for Natural Healing in Costa Rica. Cia’s focus is on communication, self-acceptance and unconditional love as the foundation for a healthy and happy relationship. Her feelings-based processes of emotional discovery are offered in a safe, group-supported setting. Issues addressed may include anger, infidelity/commitment, addictive behaviors, emotional neglect/abuse, sexual struggles and other marital and life challenges.

The Daffners present an approach to intimacy that helps create meaningful connection and authentic love on all levels. Their teaching is drawn from Tantra, an ancient spiritual path that embraces sexuality as a sacred experience. Tantra Tai Chi, a program of easy movements, provides a reliable pattern of centering into presence together. Sensual exercises create awareness of the potential for shared joy. There will be “homeplay” assignments for you to practice in the privacy of your rooms.

Relationships thrive when partners can comfortably access and reveal their truth, in their bodies, hearts and minds. The Couples Healing Intensive helps pave the way.
